Please try and book 4-6 weeks in advance as I am usually booked a month in advance. I am booked two-three months in advance closer to Christmas. I am off the entire month of December (except for newborn sessions) so I can enjoy the holidays stress free with my family. All money is due at time of session, and tax will apply on the tangible items. You can pay cash, check, or *Paypal. *NOTE – Paypal charges a 2.9% fee, that you will be responsible for. Pay close attention the session times, and decide if you will need more time. All sessions, except for the Newborns, are for 45 minutes – an hour. If we go over, an additional charge will be necessary. It’s an additional $150 per hour. More time = more pictures
We are in the process of building a new studio! With lots of room, & it will be a very relaxing environment for the entire family!!! Yay! But – It will not be ready for two – three more years . . . so for now we are only able to do babies & children/individuals. Space is extremely limited – so please keep this in mind when planning your studio session.
You can opt for natural light, on-location, or studio sessions. Just inquire with questions. . .
RESCHEDULING: For on-location outdoor sessions – we have to have sunny weather. If it is rainy weather, we will have to reschedule. If it is cloudy – I will leave the decision up to you on whether to keep your appointment or reschedule. Obviously with cloudy weather, you won’t have that beautiful sunshine in your images. Also – as a mom, there are occasions that come up where my child is feeling under the weather. Depending on the severity – I may have to reschedule an appointment & rightfully so. My assistant doesn’t want to get sick – and neither do you Same goes for your children – if they are sick, let’s reschedule. No child will ever have fun having to sit through a session when they don’t feel good.
You can book a newborn session at any point in your pregnancy. It’s never too early to book, and some moms book as soon as they find out they are pregnant. I know you will not have an “exact date” because it’s impossible to know when your little one will make their debut into this world – but a general time frame works so I can be prepared. As we get closer to the date, we can converse on planning your session. We will need someone to call us as soon as the baby is born to schedule your little one for their session. There is a $50 non-refundable booking fee to be placed on the calendar. It will be deducted off your final total.
I shoot Monday through Friday, and the first Saturday out of the month (which gets booked quickly) unless it falls on a holiday. I am a very busy mom and wife, and absolutely must have time to be with my family – so the weekends are mine. This is why I stress to book early to get the date & times you want.
Once your session is finished, it takes 2-3 weeks before your images will be ready except in October & November which will be 3-4 weeks. If you need them sooner, you can opt to add a $50 rush fee that will advance them to being finished in 2-3 days, but other than that – it will be 2-3 weeks and longer in the months of October & November. For every hour of images I take, it’s 10 hours of behind the scenes. It’s just little ole’ me and I work as fast I can, but am far from being Super Woman (although this would be alot of fun
) This is one of the downfall’s of my work, but well worth it!All CD’s and portraits can be picked up at my studio or for $5, can be mailed to you once finished. You will get your images in both color & 1940′s black/white.
Once you get your CD, please back up your images – in case your CD breaks, or gets scratched, lost..ect. I only keep files for three months…so once they are gone – they are gone. I can’t stress to you enough how important it is to back up your files.
